Kevin Keise is a 20-year-old Houstonian and junior mass communication major studying at Grambling State University. Once graduating, Kevin plans to pursue a career in sports writing.  When becoming successful he plans on giving back as much as possible because with the right help and guidance he believes anyone could reach their full potential. When not writing he enjoys playing basketball, hanging out with friends and intellectual conversations.

At Grambling, Kevin is a writer and holds the editor assistant position for news and sports for the award winning newspaper “The Gramblinite”. He covers the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) for the Gramblinite and HBCU Buzz.  He also contributes to Grambling’s T.V center and is also a part of the Favort Student Union Board (FSUB). Kevin received the award for Best Sports Coverage at the 2012 HBCU Media Conference held in Norfolk, Virginia.

Keise’s dream job will be to working for a professional NBA or NFL team where his proficient communication skills would aid the growth of the team. He lives by the motto “Optimism is my sanity. When facing adversity I never look at what I can’t do I just do what I can.”
