3. Support Artists Who Represent You

Many of the artists on the ONE Musicfest stage share similar stories to HBCU students — growing up in Black communities, navigating creative dreams, and finding their voice in spaces that weren’t always made for them. Some are even HBCU alumni themselves.
By showing up, you’re helping keep these platforms alive and proving there’s a strong audience for music that reflects our culture and experiences. Your ticket purchase, your social media posts, and your energy in the crowd all contribute to the ecosystem that allows these artists to keep creating. It’s not just entertainment — it’s cultural investment.
