As we near the close of the Spring Semester, our Spring Sports are preparing to compete in the CIAA Spring Championships. Softball, Women’s Tennis, and our Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field teams will be headed to Virginia State University on April 21st to compete with the other 12 CIAA institutions. All three programs have had solid seasons and are looking to peak their performance at the Championship venue. Additionally, the Athletic Department is preparing for Annual Golf Outing. This will serve as a fundraiser for the Athletic Department, in particularly the renovation project of the Weight Room. On May 17th at Enterprise Golf Club, we are encouraging individuals, groups, and corporations to join us Anton Goff in this worthwhile fundraising event. The cost of an individual is $150 and a
cost for a foursome is $500. There are also opportunities to become a whole sponsor or an event sponsor. To register or gain additional information, please call 301-860-4300. We look forward to having a great Bulldog Nation event. Furthermore, I can also tell you that our student-athletes are working very hard in the classroom. We have a number of seniors that willgraduatethisMayandwillbecomeBSUAlums. Wewishthemtheverybestastheytake thenextstepintheirjourneythroughlife. Wealsowanttothankthemfortheircontributions to their sports, the Athletic Department, and the University Community. As we say, once a Bulldog always a Bulldog. We look forward to following their future successes and reconnecting with them as they come back to campus to support their fellow Bulldogs.
