It is with great sadness that the Paine College Community mourns the passing of one of Augusta’s most notable television personalities and beloved citizens, Trooper Terry Sams.
Trooper Sams worked to build relationships in the community and served as a positive role model for students throughout the CSRA.
President George Bradley said, “We need more citizens who teach and showcase good citizenship. Trooper Sams was a living example of a “good neighbor and his loss will be deeply felt.”
The Paine College Community joins with WJBF News 6 and the CSRA communities in remembering one of Augusta’s greatest citizens.
