DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University Head Coach Tim Pleasant and his family have been honored by United States Tennis Association (USTA), who presented them with The Ralph W. Westcott USTA Family of the Year Award at the 2015 USTA Florida Annual Meeting Sunday night.
Pleasant, along with his wife Brenda, and children Lilly (10), Timothy (9), Charlie and Francis (4) and 1-year old twins Josephine and Rosemary were recognized for excellence in coaching, organizing, leading, and playing the game.
“We celebrate every day that we have together,” Tim Pleasant said. “We homeschool together; we play tennis together; we cry together and we laugh together. And by participating in USTA Florida programming, a pathway has been created for my family’s future.”
