It’s almost back to school season and that means we’re getting closer to the most awaited time of the year at Historically Black Colleges and Universities — that’s right, we’re talking about homecoming. Every year the HBCU community gathers to celebrate their respective institutions through a week of events leading up to the big homecoming football game. Homecoming is a staple in the HBCU community, every year creating new memories to look back on for years to come. There were so many memorable moments last year, as many schools saw their first fully in-person homecoming in two years since the pandemic.
