HOUSTON, Texas – Sunday night Darrell Asberry informed Texas Southern University that he is stepping down as head football coach.
The Tigers ended their season falling to Alabama A&M 38-7 on Saturday closing things out at (3-7, 2-7).
In each of his four season, the Tigers have not finished any higher than fourth place in the western division.
TSU opened the 2014 season winning its first four games before losing six out of the last seven. His 5-6 mark that year would end up being his best record as he finished 12-21 through his four year span. SWAC
