Despite serious effort to make progress, historically black colleges or universities, or HBCUs, won’t be able to survive today’s education financial culture without racial balance in these colleges recruitment process. Those harsh facts were highlighted in a new report, including why exactly HBCUs are focused on recruiting non-black students.

  1. I’m sure there are 345,000 black students that could get recruited. I know many that get rejected from other schools, no scholarship, and are in the poverty bracket. Why not find away to get unnoticed Black children noticed to attend OUR HBCU’s? The black community is always being left out… The people are bringing in non blacks just to keep them open and to keep the money flowing. Sad
