Whew, that FMU ROAR got gumption! The Florida Memorial University marching band performed in the Dolphins Halftime show this Sunday. The Dolphins took on the Buffalo Bills for the AFC East championship (Bills,21-Dolphins,14).

The Dolphins went all out to commemorate 50 years of hip-hop with a star-studded lineup that included Trick Daddy, Trina, Uncle Luke, Rick Ross, and The ROAR.

The FMU marching band has consistently ranked among the top three bands in Division II and had the highest cumulative score making them the #1 Ranked band in Division II.

The ROAR is the newest HBCU in the country located in the epicenter of musical excellence, and sunny Miami Florida.

While the band premiered in 2020, the foundation is built on our dynamic staff comprised of the country’s most talented and experienced educators, musicians, and performers.
