Live Nation Urban & Student Freedom Initiative Announce HBCU Aware Fest

ATLANTA, GA — Live Nation Urban and Student Freedom Initiative announce HBCU AWARE FEST, a historic celebration where culture meets purpose. Anchored by a multi-act concert at State Farm Arena on March 26, 2026, HBCU Aware Fest is designed to raise life-changing funds to address the student debt crisis disproportionately impacting HBCU students nationwide.

This event is a landmark moment for Black higher education.
HBCUs produce:

  • 80% of Black doctors and Black judges
  • 50% of Black engineers
  • 40% of Black dentists

Yet the students who attend these vital institutions graduate with significantly higher debt, averaging $52,000 for Black bachelor’s degree holders — a burden that delays homeownership, family planning, and generational wealth-building.

“This isn’t charity — it’s an investment in our futures,”

says the mission behind HBCU Aware Fest.

Designed as a nationwide call to action, every dollar raised goes directly to the Student Freedom Initiative, a trusted 501(c)(3) with a scalable, student-first model that supports HBCU communities year-round.
