WCSU-FM 88.9, Central State Public Radio is launching “Talk To Me,” an hour long public affairs program. The inaugural guests are Bomani Moyenda, Activist, Chemical Dependency Counselor and Michael Wilson, former Legislative Aide and current Equity Research Associate with Community Matters, Cincinnati, Ohio.
“Talk To Me” is Executive Produced and moderated by Dr. Venita Kelley, Educator and Communication Specialist, and Director/Actress/Artist, Felicia Chappelle. “Talk to Me” is a community empowerment public affairs talk show broadcast on WCSU-FM 88.9 FM Central State University Public Radio. The “Talk To Me” inaugural broadcast is “The Caliber of Our Citizenship.” The general focus of the discussion is Who/What do we hold accountable? How do we, with integrity, achieve results that sustain and rebuild our community(ies). Part of the discussion will focus on efforts attempting to achieve justice for John Crawford III, the 22-year-old black man gunned down by police in a Beavercreek, Ohio Walmart.
Central State University is an HBCU (Historically Black College or University). WCSU-FM 88.9 has been in service to the community for over 50 years and is the oldest HBCU radio station in the country. “Talk to Me” airs monthly on Thursday’s, 9 to10 p.m. on WCSU-FM 88.9, Central State Public Radio.
