HBCU Buzz is the “Leading Source of HBCU News, Sports & Entertainment” servicing each of the 107 Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Founded in 2011, The Buzz provides news relevant to HBCU campuses. It is an outlet to inform prospective and current students, alumni, family, and friends of relevant news, challenges, opportunities, and achievements surrounding Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Buzz covers a variance of news from the perspective of current HBCU students and recent alumni working in the African American community.
The Buzz hosts and promotes events and campaigns to reinforce the mission of unifying the students in the HBCU community across 19 states and in the District of Columbia.
The Buzz is committed to promoting HBCU pride and unity in order to enhance the black college experience.
The Buzz leadership consists of mostly recent HBCU graduates from diverse educational backgrounds within the HBCU Community.
