Southern University and A&M College

Led by team captain Riggous Allcutt Jr., Southern University and A&M College reimagines the A Different World opening through the connection between education and culture in everyday HBCU life.

The team’s approach centers on real moments captured as students move through their daily routines. By turning the camera toward their own experiences, they invite viewers into the pride, traditions, and personal connections that shape life at Southern.

The submission features campus locations including A. W. Mumford Stadium, Frank Hayden Theater, and the F. G. Clark Activity Center, alongside the Human Jukebox, ROTC, and Divine Nine organizations. Together, these elements introduce a campus community through the people and places that make it their world.
