Coach is offering several unpaid Internships in our New York City corporate headquarters. The program provides interns the opportunity to develop critical skill sets and gain hands-on experience in a fast paced environment while contributing to the performance of a high performing luxury accessories brand.
Internships consist of day-to-day work within the intern’s specific department. Each intern works closely with a mentor who gives guidance and enhances the learning experience through feedback and coaching.
The Fabric Department is looking for an intern to support the Men’s and Women’s Wearables teams. The intern will partner with the Senior Manager on development through production for fabric, hardware and trim for wearables, menswear and womenswear, cold weather and production for gloves. The Intern will attend meetings with suppliers for fabric and trim sourcing; learn how to create standard cards for raw materials; maintain reference library; prepare samples and fabric board materials for design presentations; prepare materials for the quality testing while learning standards and forseeing any obstacles; data entry into line planning system; Candidates should have strong basic computer skills. Knowledge of Excel would be a plus but not required.
