The Allstate Next Wave National Showcase made history as Black Star introduced the first-ever national showcase event dedicated to elevating Black high school soccer players. Hosted at Prairie View A&M University, the experience blended visibility, development, and real recruiting opportunities, all powered by Allstate’s commitment to protecting the future of the game. The launch reflects the growing excitement around HBCU athletics and the broader sports culture.

Texas Southern University Head Coach Danesha Adams served as the showcase’s Coaching Director, leading training sessions and offering insight into the development pipeline for young athletes. Black Star and Allstate also collaborated on exclusive branded content, including a forthcoming interview with Adams that will be embedded once released.
