In a post shared by the official Morgan State University Facebook page, Wilson and a University of Havana administrator “signed an official Memorandum of Understanding” that allows “mutual faculty and student exchange opportunities between Morgan and the University of Havana.”
“Today, Morgan President David Wilson welcomed students and an administrator from the University of Havana in Cuba to the campus,” the post read. “Together, they signed an official Memorandum of Understanding which will open doors for mutual faculty and student exchange opportunities between Morgan and the University of Havana. Kudos to Dean DeWayne Wickham, Professor Jackie Jones and our amazing students in the School of Global Journalism and Communication!”
Morgan State was founded in 1867 and is the largest HBCU in Maryland.
