Howard Alum Diddy Is Forbes’ Highest Paid Hip-Hop Artist

Diddy just topped Forbes’ “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list for a second straight year. It seems like the rapper turned mogul doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Earlier this year, Diddy kicked off his highly anticipated Bad Boy Reunion Tour and in addition to his record sales income, he continues to go all out for his brand Ciroc vodka. Not to mention the fact that his “resume will only continue to grow,” per Nerisha Penrose at Billboard.com:

“Which rappers “started from the bottom” and made it all the way to the top? On Wednesday (Sept. 7), Forbes unveiled its “Hip Hop Cash Kings 2016” list, and Diddy holds down the No. 1 spot for the second year in a row.

Diddy has kept himself quite busy this year, kicking off his Bad Boy Reunion Tour last week and releasing a short-film as part of his new Ciroc vodka campaign. Diddy’s resume alone is proof that hip-hop and entrepreneurship work simultaneously, and after raking in $62 million this year, the mogul’s resume will only continue to grow.”
