No. 3 South Carolina State University Concert Choir

South Carolina State University Concert Choir placed third with 6.21% of the vote. The group’s top-three finish reflects the pride and support of the SC State community.

South Carolina State University describes the Concert Choir as the unviversity’s premier vocal ensemble, housed in the Department of Visual and Performing Arts. The choir also serves as a choral laboratory for music majors and students from other academic areas.

The choir has also continued to build momentum on major stages. SC State announced in 2025 that the Concert Choir received an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June 2026. That kind of recognition adds another layer to the group’s rising profile.
